Please stop me!

Please someone tell me no the next time I say I'm gonna start on a project. I got a really nice wooden futon from someone at work, so I decided to make my spare bedroom into an actual guest bedroom instead of just an oversized closet. Of course instead of just putting the futon in there and calling it a day, I decided to repaint and everything. Ugh! I forgot just how much of a hassle painting is. And the smart thing would have been to paint before I got this big ol' futon in there and now have to work around it. What a pain! And I don't think I could have picked a hotter week to do it. Ick, 5 minutes of painting and I'm dripping in sweat. Thank goodness for A/C. Anyway this break has to be over, got more painting to do. I'll post pics when I'm done...

It's been a long while

Oh my goodness, I haven't been on here for a while! Ooops! So let's see....what's new? Well there's a lot, and not alot. My grandma is still sick, that's getting to be a frustrating situation. I'l post more about that later. Been having a fun summer, my bro and sis in law brought my niece out here for the 4th. It was my dad's 60th birthday. She's getting so big, I miss her so much when she's not here, and am sad that I don't get to be a daily part of her life. Can't wait til she's old enough for her parents to just ship her out here to spend time.
My cousins also came down from Northern CA to spend some time. They've got 3 little kids so that was fun. Lots of playing in the pool. We went to DownTown Disney and had ice cream and fireworks. Thats always fun.
